Jurassic Park
Background
Jurassic Park was the first pinball machine I acquired in early 2024 when this little obsession first took hold. Stern released Jurassic Park in 2019, and it’s likely one of their best sellers. It’s frequently back on the factory line to keep up with demand, and has regularly been in the top 5 pinball machines in the Pinside Top 100.
The game callouts feature terrible voice acting, but the amazing layout by Keith Elwin makes up for it. It’s mechanically simple, with very few “toys”, but the story of making your way through the park to rescue the employees from the dinosaurs is engaging and has high replayability.
